Low-poly Hand-painted Girl Model
Modeled a low-poly girl in Maya based on concept from Hoon Soonsang. Hand-painted in Substance painter.
Tire Model & Snow Generator For UE5
Created a realistic game-ready tire using Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Sampler, and lit assets in Unreal Engine. Snow generator created in Unreal Engine.
Water Bottle Model
I used Maya and VRay to model, shade, and render a realistic water bottle with caustics, and matched the lighting against a photograph.
Boba Shaders
For this project, I developed four shaders and implemented nested dielectrics for accurate rendering of liquid, glass, and objects within the liquid in Arnold. Additionally, I explored the use of layered fractal nodes for procedural normals and aiNoise and aiCellNoise for displacement effects.
Snow Shader
For this shader, I layered two different fractals to create a snow texture and applied them to displacement, in order to avoid manually sculpting the snow texture. I also experimented with coat and subsurface scattering to make the snow look more realistic.
