

I used a bump material to shade specific areas with a normal map to create the ridges. The fractals create a small varied texture to the cap to emulate the real life Yeti water bottle cap material.

I used Maya and VRay to model, shade, and render a realistic water bottle with caustics, and matched the lighting against a photograph.
